Julius Amedume?a Ghanaian-British filmmaker whose films proved very popular at the TVCFilmNight and work I first stumbled across back in 2006 at the sadly missed Black Filmmakers Film Festival. ?Since then he?s gone on to win awards in some of ?America?s most prestigious film festivals. ?Last year he collected Best Short award for a film starring?Haitian?actor Jimmy Jean-Louis entitled Precipice prior to that his films?A Goats Tail?won Best Feature film at Pan African Film Festival in 2006.

Well, you can watch some of his newest work from the comfort of your own home as he recently directed three episodes of the Beeb?s daytime drama Doctors. ?You can catch them now on??BBC iPlayer?(Episodes?139 to 141/221).
